Just in Time...Amy Saves the Day...

Gifts do not make ALL of our troubles go away, but with everything that's been going on with my dad (you can read about that here)... Receiving my swap box from Amy at Random Thoughts today, really added many rays of sunshine to my day.

Thank you Mamarazzi for hosting another fun swap. This is my 2nd time participating in one of her swaps, and I'm telling you...both experiences were delightful!
Thank you Amy, for all of these wonderful things. Just so you all know, I'm quite impatient, and had ripped into the goodies, without even thinking of snapping a "before" picture. Take my word for it. They were all wrapped, with little notes, and it was just so inviting. How could I not simply tear in:

Here's what I got..(you can be jealous if you'd like):

1. Amy's note said: "I always have many pens in my purse. These are my favorites." Not only did she send me her favorite pens--but also her second fave. :) She must have known how pens grow legs and run away around here. It was so awesome to get fresh new pens, that are mine...all mine.

2. I also got nail polish. She likes the brownish, redish, darkish look of this color. I love it too. I love funky unusual colors to paint my toes...and this fits the bill!

3. She also mentioned that "Enchanted Potions" is where she gets her body wash, spray, lotion etc. They have great smelling knock off brands. Here's what she sent me from Enchanted Potions:

• Very Sexy lotion and spray
• oatmeal bath soap
• and some fresh clean clean smelling body wash

4. Trident Gum--tropical flavored. It smells yum, and I love gum...all flavors, and can't wait to pop a piece of this one in my mouth.

5. Vera Bradley Pocket Papers... the little case is so cute!! These will be quite handy to have in my purse..I'm always looking for something to jot down notes on.

6. The book The 6th Target is just perfect for me. I love James Patterson-haven't read this one--and I read every day... I'm always and forever on the hunt for a new book to read.

7. She also sent me wonderfully smelling, aromatherapy vanilla lotion from Bath & Body Works. It smells like a dream!

There is one thing missing from the picture...but I have a good explanation. You see, the package it came wrapped in... had a note that read, "My favorite mid-afternoon snack"..and well, since the gifts arrived mid-afternoon, and I was a smidge bit hungry for a snack.... Well, that yummy 3 Musketeers she sent, really hit the spot! :)
