1. The dogs were looking like burly little koala bears instead of schnauzers prior to their groomer visit
2. The groomer that we visit takes the words, "Just shave 'em" quite literally...
3. Thanks to the new hair cut we discovered that our male dog (who we have never had neutered) is naturally 1/2 neutered.... (and if you remember a previous post that discussed an incident with me, Ozie, and a pair of scissors.... rest assured I had nothing to do with this!)
Anyhoo.... Ozie seems to not mind his predicament too much really, and as far as hair cuts go, he didn't really mind going from fluffy to bald too much:
Usually girls want to get rid of our facial hair... Seriously what female actually wants a beard and bushy eyebrows? Now Zoie, it was her pride and joy
Oh bummer... What's a girl to do...
Oh bummer... What's a girl to do...
Don't worry Zoie.

This post was brought to you compliments of Maeci and Hannah --who insisted on going home with friends on an early out day instead of hanging out with mom. Apparently when I have time on my hands--the dogs get more interesting... just saying.
Oh, and by the way: Lots going on at the Scott house. Can't wait to fill ya in with goings on of the people people who live here and not just the doggy people. Have a great Thursday!
Big Daddy is the "Man of the House." He takes his daddy role seriously. He & I met when we were in highschool, and the rest is literally crazee history. As the only guy around it's his job to fix things, and scare off the boogie man. He spends his time working hard & playing a little golf. For extra fun he loves pulling pranks on the girls.
While I believe that my role as a mom is to teach my girls how to become strong independent women, I have another not so secret agenda as well. I find it important to teach them to laugh, and not take themselves so seriously. That is my philosophy. I love my husband, I love my children and I love the fact that we are not your average "cookie cutter" family.
Miss Mae is our oldest daughter. Just stepping into the world of being a teenager, she is learning to assert her independence and make her opinions known. She has a big heart, and loves to have a great time. She enjoys playing sports, especially basketball. She plays competitive basketball year round. She also enjoys dance, singing, fashion and texting her friends.
Despite turning 10, Hannah is still referred to as the baby. Most of the time, she finds being the "baby" to be more of a burden than a blessing. She loves animals, and would most likely run a zoo out of our house if we would let her. For now, she has to settle for taking care of her Schnauzers; Zoie & Ozie. She was blessed with the voice of an angel and loves to sing. Hannah also enjoys cooking, and can't wait until she's old enough to babysit.

10 people got crazee and lived to tell about it:
It takes a REAL WOMAN to want a beard. Just sayin'!
Sweet doggie tales! The comment from Heather just cracked me up. You have a wonderful Easter weekend.

They are so cute. Wish we didn't have allergies so we could have a cute dog. :)
BTW...I finally started using my Picnik account for good things! I made a collage today from our visit to the Tulsa aquarium. Thanks so much! It is really fun to play with.
